Students who do not have this background may apply, and may be required to complete the Human Science college prep course with a passing grade.

This Introductory Workshop is designed for applicants and potential applicants to OV College of Massage Therapy, or for applicants planning to attend the programs available at other professional massage therapy colleges in B.C.
The content of the Introductory Workshop focuses on an introduction to the practical and professional aspects of the programs available at OV. It is an opportunity for hands-on experience intended to support the applicant in his/her decision making process when considering education for a “practically based” career. It is also an opportunity for applicants to meet potential classmates.
The workshop is a two-day weekend event, from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm both Saturday and Sunday. The cost of this workshop is $283.50 (including tax), which includes a set of sheets that are required for the workshop and will be used in the program. See below for registration forms.

The time management and study skills information offered will prepare you to reach your educational goals. Positive feedback from our first year students and graduates indicate this preparation course has equipped them for the significant science components of first year. The course content is designed to support you in your transition to full-time education.
