OV Advanced Placement Option for Kinesiology Graduates
- You'll start the application process in the same method as a standard application
(create a profile and select Advanced Placement on the Application page).
**NOTE creating a profile and requesting credentialling does not commit you to the program at OVCMT. This is just a step towards understanding how you can move foward with your education in becoming an RMT.
- You will upload your Kinesiology transcripts and detailed course outlines/syllabus, with hours as applicable. (The more detail you can provide, the better!)
- Detailed credentialing will be completed by our Academic, Practical and Clinical Directors.
- Results will be uploaded to this same page in the Classter application portal.
- Continue uploading elements of your application, don't forget to review upcomind dates for the Introduction to Massage Workshop (a mandatory element of any regulated RMT program in BC)
- The application fee including credentialing consideration is $225.

What is credentialling?
Credentialling at OVCMT is the process of evaluating the learning outcomes from your previous education to determine which courses in the RMT program you may not need to repeat. We carefully review your transcripts and detailed course outlines (syllabus) to compare what you have already learned with the requirements of our program. In regulated provinces, learning outcomes are very specific, so this ensures you receive appropriate credit for successfully completed courses while also meeting all the standards required for the RMT program.
