- Step 1: Send
in your application indicating the year into which you wish
to transfer.
- Step 2: Your
application is reviewed.
Based on this review, there are a number of outcome possibilities.
a) Competency level is not clear and therefore applicant
can challenge specific exams.
b) Competency level is clearly below entry level and therefore
application is not accepted.
c) Competency level is clearly equal or above year entry
level and applicant can progress to next step.

Please complete the upgrade/transfer application
form and submit it together with a non-refundable $125.00
application fee. If you are in the process of completing
the 1st year of massage college OR a 2200 hour Massage Therapy
program, it is possible to receive an acceptance conditional
upon completion of this course.
Applications received will be treated on a
first come, first serve basis.
Each application for admission will be reviewed
by the college directors. An interview will be arranged to
evaluate character, aptitude, motivation and qualifications.
It is the policy of Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy
to evaluate all applicants without discrimination regarding
age, sex, race, creed, religion or marital status.
During the interview, you will be given an
opportunity to ask our representative questions about the
college.

Applicants receiving notification of acceptance
into OVCMT will be required to submit a supply deposit of
$500.00. This deposit will ensure us of your commitment to
attend and will be applied towards any textbooks and miscellaneous
supplies available through the college. Any unused portion
will be refunded to you.
Many of the textbooks used in the second and
third year are texts used by other colleges. If you have these
texts there will be no further cost.
