The Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy Ltd. is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, Vernon, British Columbia. We offer a Massage Therapy Program with a variety of options designed to meet your career needs.

The three-year massage therapy program meets the standards established in British Columbia to write the Board exams to become a Registered Massage Therapist. The three-year diploma can be applied to a four-year Bachelor of Health Science Degree.

As of September 2009, we will teach, in the first two years of the program, all of the competencies required by the other regulated provinces in Canada (Newfoundland & Labrador, and Ontario). The intention is for a two year graduate to be able to challenge the Newfoundland and Ontario exams. After becoming registered in one of those provinces the registrant will be able to enter British Columbia and become registered here.

Prospective registrants from other regulated provinces will need to take a British Columbia jurisprudence exam. This exam is conducted on-line via the CMTBC and does not require the individual to take a specific course.

Upon completion of the first year you will be qualified to work in the spa industry, as a certified Spa Practitioner.

We accept transfer students into our program, acknowledging previous massage education.
