Doug is the 2002 recipient of the Meritorious Service Award, presented at the Leadership Conference of the Council of Schools of the American Massage Therapy Association. The award is for outstanding service to the Council of Schools, and the presentation was accompanied by a standing ovation!
- 2007 Leadership award presented in Winnipeg by the Canadian Council of Massage Therapy Schools.

Doug has 25 years experience as a Massage Therapist and 22 years experience as a teacher of massage. He has also held the position of Practical Director at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy from 1986-1989.
In the 1980’s, Doug was a National Team Trainer with the cycling team and a massage therapist for the Vancouver Canucks. He worked with Anita Patrick and a few others to set up the Sports Massage Therapy Association of Canada.
He has been continually involved with the College of Massage Therapists of BC, serving on key committees such as Curriculum, AIT, and Accreditation.

Pam is a presenter for the American Massage Therapy Association conference in Cincinnati, Ohio in September, 2007 on the topic, “Designing Significant Learning in Health Care Education.” In May 2007 she was a featured presenter at the Association for Complementary and Integrative Physicians of BC ‘Body Heals’ Conference. Her topic was “Designing a Model of Integrative Health Care Education: A Massage Therapy example.” She was a reviewer for the second edition of the text, The Educated Heart, Professional Boundaries for Massage Therapists, Bodyworkers, and Movement Teachers by Nina McIntosh, MSW, published in 2005. Over the past three decades, Pam has worked as an educator, presenter and counselor in a variety of settings.

AdministratorColleen joined OVCMT in April 2007. Colleen brings 15 years of management experience and over 20 years of finance experience along with a progressive approach to all areas of the administration of the college. Colleen’s recent management courses include Office/Supervisory Skills (2005), Train-the Trainer (2005), and How to be a More Effective Team Leader (2006). Colleen coordinates all administration functions including:
- Finance
- Student Records and transcripts
- Adminstrative Staff supervision
- Purchasing and inventory control
- Maintenance and facilities
- Advertising and promotions
Colleen serves as liason with PCTIA and StudentAid BC.

Audrey is a member of the Board of Directors of OVCMT. She has worked in private practice and as an instructor of hydrotherapy and massage therapy and as a teacher’s assistant. Audrey instructs the Introduction to Massage prerequisite course.
Audrey serves as a program consultant and Library and Resource Coordinator. She provides key support for OVCMT faculty.
