Workshops > Touch for Health

Touch for Health is a system of natural health care made simple and easy to learn and use. It was designed to empower everyone to take care of their and their families' needs. This simple system teaches a range of gentle yet powerful healing techniques to improve health, well-being and vitality.

The synthesis of Touch for Health techniques involves skills researched from modern chiropractic, naturopathy, osteopathy and ancient Chinese acupuncture. Touch for Health uses the muscles as a biofeedback mechanism. This becomes a greater tool that works at the connection between body and mind; using electromagnetic energy system called meridians, which are the interface between the physical and subtle energy bodies.

Learn about the many different energy systems that are in our bodies, and the specific muscles related to them.

These energy systems maintain balance and harmony within the body addressing the health triangle: Structural, Nutritional, and Emotional - stresses common in our everyday life.

Raising energy through the acupuncture meridian system allows the person to feel positive health benefits, encouraging the natural process of the body to enhance health and vitality.

Who Will This Training Benefit
The Touch for Health Synthesis is aimed at the widest audience. It is a must for anyone focused on achieving optimum health and peak performance in all areas of their lives from the general public through to health practitioners enhancing their skills and practice. Anyone can learn 'Touch for Health' Kinesiology.

Certification Information
Registered Massage Therapists will receive 14 CEU credits per each level of Touch for Health they successfully complete.

Also, upon successful completion of each level of touch for Health you will receive a certificate of attendance. This meets the standards as set by the Canadian Association of Specialized Kinesiology. On completion of the Touch for Health synthesis you will be eligible to write a proficiency exam which qualifies you to receive a proficiency certificate from the International Kinesiology College of Zurich (IKC), which entitles you to use the TFH name and logo in your practice.
