APPLICATION ESSAY AND REQUIREMENTS

Please write a brief but concise essay answering the following questions:

  1. Why do you want to become a Massage Therapist?
  2. What are your expectations of yourself as a full time student?
  3. What are your expectations of this Massage Therapy program?
  4. What do you personally have to offer this profession?
  5. What has been your experience with Massage Therapy?
  6. What role do you think Massage Therapy should play in the allied health field?
  7. Describe and discuss three different types of Massage Therapy practices.
  8. What are the best aspects of the Massage Therapy practices you have visited?
  9. What are your professional plans upon graduation?

Please enclose the following with your application:

  1. Three current non family reference letters from people who have known you for at least five years.
  2. An employment resume.
  3. Your essay, as outlined above.
  4. Official School transcripts indicating Grade 12 graduation and the required prerequisites (Level 2 / Level 3) (ORIGINAL & CERTIFIED TRUE COPY).
  5. Copies of educational degrees, diplomas, certificates, etc.
  6. Non-refundable $125.00 registration fee.
  7. A completed Health Assessment Form (55Kb PDF) signed by both yourself and your physician.
  8. A completed Student Budget Worksheet (60Kb Excel).  (This worksheet has built in formulas for ease of use.  Print it and send it with your application).
  9. You are required to complete all prerequisites before receiving final acceptance into the program. You may, however, apply prior to completion.

  • You are required to complete an Introductory Workshop and academic prerequisites before final acceptance. You may, however, apply prior to completion.
  • Prospective students are advised to submit this application as soon as possible.  Classes are limited in size, applications will be accepted only until class is full.
