Tao Farrell RMT

I have been practicing as an RMT now for more than five years.  I love the opportunity being an RMT grants in helping people to improve their health and alleviate their pain.  I love being presented with fresh challenges on a daily basis and I appreciate being able to work for myself.  I have had the privilege of assisting to teach Schweitzer’s Deep Tissue Therapy to other RMT’s across Canada, an opportunity that may not have come without OVCMT’s practicum program.

The OVCMT education has been essential and pivotal in my success as an RMT. The supportive atmosphere emphasizing practical knowledge and understanding of what it is to be a Massage Therapist gave me all the tools and more needed to embark on a successful career.  The well rounded expertise of the teachers and administration made the challenging task of becoming an RMT possible and at many a time even enjoyable.

The Okanagan Valley was the perfect back drop for such an experience.  A slower pace of life with plenty of sunshine and parks like Kalamalka Lake Park helped to rejuvenate and lessen the stresses of studying.  I would recommend the OVCMT experience to anyone considering a career in Massage Therapy.
