With a history of working in the construction field, specifically concrete, I am very used to hard work. Putting my head down and driving towards what I knew was going to be a great career was something I thoroughly enjoyed.  I graduated from OVCMT in June of 2006 after spending 3 years in classes with the friendly and highly skilled staff at OVCMT.

I value a holistic approach to Massage therapy and place a great deal of importance on assessment in order to assure proper treatment and the best possible patient care. Some of the techniques I commonly employ in the treatment of patients include myofacial release, trigger point therapy and I also feel that deep tissue therapy is an integral part of many treatment considerations. I have been supervising student clinic since September 2008 and enjoy giving and sharing with the students.

Since being a student at OVCMT, I have always felt that the school philosophy allows you to explore your own beliefs and that there are as many styles of massage as there is massage therapist.  The atmosphere really allows you to grow as your own person and develop into a very skilled and confident therapist. The learning you receive about the physiology and anatomy of the natural human body is astounding. The support you receive from staff and peers at this school are unbeatable.  As a grad of this college and a participant in the continued service I would like to say that OVCMT is a great school and provides simply the best opportunity for an education as a massage therapist!
