Application Process and Documentation

* Items can be submitted in any order, it is not necessary to submit all at once.
* The OVCMT program is competitive entry, so we recommend submitting your application materials as early as possible to give yourself the best chance of securing a spot.

• Application Form with $150.00 application fee (non-refundable)
       *may be submitted prior to other documentation
• Application Essay
• Employment Resume
• Student Budget Worksheet (completed in full)
• Self Health Assessment
• Copies of High School Transcript and any educational degrees, diplomas, certificates, etc
• Criminal Record Check *not through RCMP.

• Your are eligible to schedule your Interview, with the above items submitted in full
  *Zoom interviews are optional for out-of-town applicants

Acceptance may be granted with all of the above items completed, however all items (including below listed) must be completed/submitted to start classes:

• Two Reference Letters
• Health Assessment Form signed by both you and your physician
• Registered for (or completed) Introduction to Massage Workshop 
       *must be completed before starting and RMT program in British Columbia
       Workshop Dates: June 22-23, August 17-18, October 19-20, 2024 & January 4-5, 2025.
• Original & Certified High School Transcripts (must be forwarded directly to OVCMT from school)

• *CPR Required before end of Term 1. Standard 1st Aid with CPR level C (*not occupational) 
  *Must be from one of the following National providers: Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Ski Patrol, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lifesaving Society or St. John Ambulance
   

​Highly Recommended:

• Find yourself without recent anatomy and physiology education?  OVCMT applicants may want/need to upgrade their knowledge through our Human Science and College Preparation Course (HSCP). 
• *NOTE: This preparation course is only available to OVCMT applicants

Misc:

*Meeting minimum entry requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Preference will be given to applicants with recent Anatomy and Physiology or Human Biology.
